- Sep 6Communion Sunday in OBVU Sanctuary. Please bring a non-perishable food item for the local Food Cupboards. This will also be the time to formally welcome Pastor Al Turcott as our earthly, Spiritual Leader.

- Sep 13187th Baptist Anniversary Service with guest speaker Rev. Ernie Cox. Special music by Ernie & Lynda Cox with guest soloist Garth Hampson, “The Singing Mountie.” A time of celebration and fellowship will follow. All are welcome!

- Oct 25Vernon United Church 101st Anniversary with guest speaker Rev. Dana Ducette, Minister supporting Youth and Young Adults, Eastern Ontario–Outaouais Regional Council, United Church of Canada. Celebration and fellowship following the service.
- Nov 1All Saints Day. Communion Sunday. Please bring a non-perishable food item for the local Food Cupboards.
- Nov 8Remembrance Sunday. Joint OBVU–OPC service in OPC Sanctuary, across the street. Please feel free to wear your uniform or medals.
- Nov 15Regular Sunday Service. Operation “Christmas Child” boxes are due back to the church.

- Dec 13Third Sunday of Advent – JOY. White Gift Sunday. Joint OBVU–OPC service in OBVU Sanctuary. A Potluck Luncheon will follow in McLaurin Hall.

- Dec 20Community Country Christmas in the OBVU Church Sanctuary. Join your neighbours for a time of music and fellowship. If we have been really good throughout the year, we might have a visit from the Jolly man in the Red Suit.
